Great for beginners, experts, freestylers and party animals, Les Deux Alpes has a reputation for exciting skiing. The resort is comprised of two villages, Venosc and Mont de Lans. Originally two sheep-grazing 'alpages', their shared history gives rise to the name 'Les Deux Alpes'. The 2km strip of hotels, bars and shops that runs along a narrow plateau connecting the two today forms a lively little entertainment highway, while the skiing on offer promises an adrenaline rush for beginners through to the most advanced.
